What Does He Do?

A child and adolescent psychiatrist uses a knowledge of biological, psychological, and social factors in working with patients. He will design a plan of treatment which considers all the factors and discusses these recommendations with the child or adolescent and family.

An integrated treatment approach may involve individual or family psychotherapy; medication; and/or consultation with other physicians or professionals.

He doesn't (well hardly ever) give shots.

What Kind of Things Does He Treat?

He focuses on disorders that typically first appear in childhood;
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Mood Disorders
Anxiety Disorders
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Eating Disorders
Developmental Disabilities
Disruptive Behavior Disorders.

About the Office

The office is located in Coral Gables, near the population center of Dade County and convenient to residents of Broward County as well. (Yes, it is still not close enough to where you live. Yes, traffic in Miami is bad.) The office is shared with his two esteemed colleagues though remains a (usually) uncrowded and calm environment. At this time, no third party insurance plans are accepted.
